Sales Engineer

Camarillo, CA

DP Technology, makers of ESPRIT CAD/CAM software, is now hiring regional sales engineers with a strong technical aptitude and an ability to influence potential customers with their knowledge and enthusiasm. Afforded the opportunity to set goals and execute plans, our sales reps are in control of their personal success as well as that of the company.

The Day-to-Day

  • Develop new leads into business opportunities
  • Nurture existing leads through the entire sales process
  • Customer needs analysis and qualification
  • Technical demonstrations
  • Quoting, and negotiation
  • Build and promote strong, relationships with customers and solution partners
  • Meet monthly sales objectives as defined by the Director of US Sales
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts along their necessary solutions
  • Attend US based industry and partner specific trade shows and events
  • Collaborate with inhouse R&D, application engineers, customers, and solution partners to help shape future product capabilities

What You Bring

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or relatable field
  • Strong sales-oriented communication skills
  • Commitment to drive the sales process from open to close
  • Familiarity with CNC machining

  • The most successful candidates will have machining and machine tool industry experience.

Up to 30% travel time per year.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to sit for long periods, type, use office equipment, and talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
