Global Payroll Manager

Camarillo, CA

The Global Payroll Manager will develop, manage, and execute all payroll activities for the Company’s multi-state and International payroll.  The Global Payroll Manager must be innovative and committed to accuracy in all transactions.  This position contributes to the Company’s success by ensuring our employees are paid accurately and timely and leaders have the most accurate data to make decisions. 

The Day-to-Day

  • Manage the preparation, documentation, validation and disbursement of on-cycle and off cycle payroll processing for US entities
  • Develop of centralized practices and procedures for global payroll function
  • Create, maintain, and continuously update internal controls related to payroll processing
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforce adherence to requirements and advise management on needed actions
  • Payroll systems enhancements including testing and validation of system changes
  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate general ledger posting and reconciliations
  • Compile US and International compensation data in each payroll period, verify accuracy and integrity
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and standardization of payroll processes globally
  • Collaborate on policy and process decisions that integrate with HR and Accounting functions
  • Conduct and review payroll audits for accuracy, data integrity and regulatory mandates
  • Support internal and external agency audits
  • Handle inbound employee pay inquiries, identify need, process transactions as needed and escalate issues as required
  • Preparation and delivery of payroll reporting as requested by management, tax, finance, audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain aggregated compensation analytics for all company subsidiaries

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of eight years’ working experience with multi-state and International payroll processing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
  • Must work independently at a high level of accuracy with a great attention to detail
  • Must demonstrate ability to make independent decisions based on sound judgement
  • Current Passport; or ability to obtain a passport is required

Even Better

  • Certified Payroll Professional or Fundamental Payroll Certification
  • Ceridian Dayforce product experience a plus
  • Experience implementing an HRIS system
  • European and/or Asian language skills a plus


Around 10% travel, domestic and international, as needed.
