CMZ improves production of their CNC lathes with ESPRIT CAM

News

CMZ is a national company that has been dedicated to the manufacturing of CNC lathes for 70 years.

Likewise, it stands as one of the main suppliers of CNC lathes in Europe, with four plants located in the region of Bilbao where they design and assembly the machines that they manufacture.

CMZ works in collaboration with ESPRIT CAM software and Integral PLM Experts, allowing its offer to be more attractive to its clients. Among the improvements that this software provides to CMZ lathes, we can include time studies and simulation tools that help to understand better the machining processes.

Thanks to ESPRIT, CMZ manages to simplify part programming processes, significantly increasing its accuracy and significantly reducing the duration and complexity of CNC programs.

CMZ, ESPRIT and Integral PLM Experts partner together to provide the best technology in manufacturing.

Since 2017, in addition, CMZ is assembling the latest generation FANUC  controls with the iHMI interface, approaching more and more the industry 4.0. Thanks to this new application, users have a computer on their own machine so they can use the ESPRIT software on the lathe.

Watch this interview recorded at BIEMH 2018 show, where we can learn from the CMZ applications director, Ainhoa de la Iglesia, how ESPRIT and Integral PLM Experts have helped to add value to the products produced by the Spanish company.
